Matt Forkin has been practicing as an estate agent since 2006 starting his career with Wicklow Homes in Greystones before founding Forkin Estates in 2008.
Matt is an associate member of the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland (SCSI) and the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and is an RICS Registered Red Book Valuer. Matt specialises in residential and commercial sales, new homes, property valuation, and development consultation.
Originally from Wicklow Town, Matt is heavily involved in Wicklow Town & District Chamber of Commerce and is the current Chamber President. In his spare time, he likes to play golf and is a member of Blainroe Golf Club.
Margaret Short has been practicing as an auctioneer in County Wicklow for nearly 30 years. She spent a long number of years with Jackson-Stops (later rebranded to Lennox Estates).
During that time, she was involved in the residential and commercial areas of the business, gaining vast experience in both sales and lettings. A member of the Institute of Professional Auctioneers and Valuers since 2007. Margaret joined REA Forkin in 2013 and operates between the Wicklow Town and Bray branch
In her spare time, Margaret enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Born and Raised in Glenealy. In 2017, Warren began a Bachelor of Science Degree in Auctioneering, Valuation and Estate Agency (Real Estate) at Technological University Dublin. On completion of degree, Warren began his career here at REA Forkin and is delighted to be part of the team. Warren particularly enjoys the opportunity of working in Wicklow, the area which he grew up in. Warren has a huge passion and a true local knowledge of the area.
In Warren's spare team, he plays Gaelic football with Rathnew maintaining a strong family tradition. He has won numerous hurling and football championship titles with both clubs. Warren has also had the privilege of playing for his county. In 2018 Warren was named captain for the Wicklow team to a national league title.
Claire started her real estate experience working in REA Forkin as a summer job in 2019. Claire studied estate agency practice and auctioneering in the Bray Institute. Following this course Claire was accepted into the Ballsbridge College of Further Education to take part in the apprenticeship in auctioneering and property services. Claire is continuing her studies with her academic study program while on-the-job training at REA Forkin.
In 2018 Claire travelled to South Africa to volunteer with Mellon Educate, an Irish based charity to help build houses, classrooms and school facilities.
Conor has been a qualified chartered accountant since 2016, having completed his training in Audit & Recovery with Grant Thornton. Conor had primarily worked in the construction industry and oversaw the management of numerous commercial/ residential units & developments.
In his spare time, Conor is very competitive in golf. He put in a lot of practice to get down to +3.
Amanda O'Neill joined REA Forkin in 2015 and has been part of the team ever since. Amanda continues her studies and development within the property industry at REA Forkin.
Out of hours Amanda loves to look after her dogs as well as her daughter. Amanda is very enthusiastic about health and fitness.
